Next SMQG meeting February 4th

Well our February meeting is right around the corner.  Please join us on February 4th- 6 pm at Linderellas in Southern Pines for our monthly meeting.
This month our Bee blocks are due.  I hope all of my bee's have been very busy.  I know that I have.  I am sorry to say that I am unable to attend due to a conflict with work, but Candy will be there to help guide the meeting for us. 
Our next sew day is Thursday, February 17th from 5-8 pm.  I will be there for sure working on all of my many projects.  I hope to see everyone there. 
One last food for thought.  It is now time to make a decision on officers and dues.  The duties will be discussed at the February meeting.  Please come ready to give input and offer help. 

Sew Day This Weekend

It is time for the Sandhills Modern Quilt Guilds very first sew day.  We are scheduled for this Saturday, January 15th from 2-5pm at Linderellas.  If you can only make it for a couple of hours that's okay.  We would love to see everyone. 

Don't forget to send me your flickr name so that I can send you an invite to the SMQG flickr site, so you can join in our fun!

January Meeting....we are taking a trip

Hi Everyone!  I hope this finds everyone enjoying the New Year.  During our December meeting we decided to hold our January meeting at the Fiber Arts show in Sanford.  The date for our excursion is Saturday, January 8th.  We will be meeting at Linderellas at 11:30 and then heading up to the show.  I would love to carpool with those that can, so just let me know if you are interested in that.  Also, feel free to meet us up there should you have alternate plans.  I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.

Get ready, Get set....We are meeting again on Friday, November 5th

Well fellow quilter's it has already been a month and we have another meeting right around the corner.  I am so excited to sit down and chat with everyone again. Don't forget to come with a current project that you are working on to share with everyone.  I am still working on putting our Flickr site together and I should have everything together by the meeting, so that I can share with you all how to join in on the Flickr fun.  Come ready to enjoy some yummy food, great ideas and good company and of course the fabulous fabrics at Linderella's! Thank you to all of you that showed up for the first ever Sandhills Modern Quilt Guild meeting.  It was such a pleasure to meet everyone tonight.  I look forward to our next meeting on Friday, November 5 at 6:30 pm.  Pictures from tonight's event will be following soon. 

The first Modern Quilt Guild Meeting

Calling all Modern Quilters....the date has been set for the first meeting, Friday, October 1st at 6:30 p.m. at Linderella's in Southern Pines.  If you need directions do not hesitate to email me at sandhillsmqg@yahoo.com.  Please bring a current project that you would like to show and tell.  I can't wait to see everyone!
